Region 6
Maternal and Infant Health Data

Pregnant Woman Standing_edited.png

Behind every statistic is a birthing person, a baby, and a family whose life has been impacted by pregnancy and birth. While many families in Region 6 experience healthy beginnings, preventable maternal and infant morbidity and mortality continue to affect communities throughout the Region. Significant disparities persist, especially with families of color and those facing social and economic barriers, which in turn lead to worse outcomes. By understanding the data, we can work together to advance equity and ensure every family has the opportunity to thrive.
