About Us

What We Believe In

The Regional Perinatal Quality Collaboratives (RPQCs) are key drivers of the Mother Infant Heath & Equity Improvement Plan (MIHEIP). R6 includes Genesee, Huron, Lapeer, Sanilac, Tuscola, St. Clair and Shiawassee  counties. We are actively working together as a region to address health equity, disparate outcomes and unconscious bias and stigma.

Perinatal Quality Collaboratives

The CDC has shared important information on the work of PQCs. PQCs like ours have reduced the number of elective delivery surgeries before 39 weeks, increased breastfeeding rates, and reduced healthcare-related blood infections in newborns. Through collaborative learning, rapid response data, and quality improvement science support, collaboratives like R6 are improving the health of mothers and babies in Michigan.
